• Job Responsibilities:
• - Prepare the initial basis of design with input from the business side.
• - Conduct detail engineering, including initial layout, main plant technical specifications, preparation of tender documents, technical evaluation, and recommendations.
• - Provide engineering support and clarification during project detail engineering, construction, and commissioning phases.
• - Advise the automation, electrical, and instrument team on control philosophy, AEI design specification, and provide clarification during construction and commissioning phases.
• - Perform process design, update, and conduct design calculations for new applications or equipment.
• - Supervise draughtsman on engineering drawings.
• - Participate in strategy planning and implementation with management support and approval.
• - Prepare budget and estimation of investment and operational costs.
• - Carry out other responsibilities and authorities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
• Requirements:
• - Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• - 3 to 5 years of working experience, especially in oleochemicals or related fields, is an added advantage.
• - Good communication skills.
• - Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD.
• - Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is required; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
• - Willingness to travel overseas.
• - Self-directed and highly motivated.
• - Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• - Detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy.
