Job Position: Assistant Quantity Surveyor

• Basic Salary:
• - $3,000 - $5,000
• Working Area:
• - 47 Pandan Loop, Singapore 128263
• Working Hours:
• - 5.5 working days per week - Monday to Friday: 8.00am – 5.00pm - Saturday: 8.00am – 12.00pm
• Job Description:
• - Evaluate tenders and quotations.
• - Carry out quantity take-off for project tendering.
• - Source and review costs from trade suppliers and subcontractors.
• - Prepare preliminary design proposals for design and build projects.
• - Prepare cost comparisons for management approval.
• - Perform other quantity surveying related tasks as assigned.
• - Produce AutoCAD drawings.
• - Read and interpret M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) drawings.
• - Review technical standards, specifications, datasheets, calculations, and drawings.
• - Support and provide mechanical engineering design.
• - Handle design works and/or project management relevant to ACMV (Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation).
• - Provide technical assistance to engineers.
• - Advise engineers on project administration and contractual issues.
• - Perform basic calculations for ACMV design.
• - Conduct design calculations, duct sizing, heat load calculations, cost estimation, and preparation of plans and detailed engineering designs.
• - Implement cost control measures.
• Requirements:
• - Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or equivalent.
• - Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
• - Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.
• - 1-2 years of relevant working experience in the construction field.
