- We are looking for an experienced
- Senior Workday Integration Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support complex Workday integrations across HR, payroll, finance, benefits, and other enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Workday Integration, Workday Studio, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), along with a solid understanding of Workday integration architecture and data flows.
- This role requires a technically strong professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable and reliable integration solutions.
Requirements
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain
- Workday integrations with internal and third-party applications.
Build and maintain integrations using
- Workday Studio and EIB, ensuring solutions meet business, security, and performance requirements.
- Analyze integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications and implementation approaches.
- Develop inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and external systems such as payroll, benefits, finance, identity management, and other enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot integration failures, identify root causes, and implement effective resolutions.
- Work with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements, assess feasibility, and recommend appropriate integration solutions.
- Develop integration documentation, technical specifications, test plans, and deployment procedures.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and production validation.
- Monitor integration performance and proactively address errors, data inconsistencies, and recurring issues.
- Participate in integration architecture discussions and contribute to best practices, standards, and reusable integration frameworks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior integration developers and consultants.
Must-Have Skills
- 8–16 years of overall experience with significant hands-on experience in Workday integrations.
- Strong expertise in Workday Integration development and implementation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Studio for complex integrations.
- Strong experience with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) for inbound and outbound integrations.
- Good understanding of Workday integration architecture, business processes, security, and data structures.
- Experience working with integration requirements, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex integration issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Workday Core Connectors, including
- Core Connector: Worker (CCW) and related connector configurations.
- Hands-on experience with PECI (Payroll Effective Change Interface)
- Knowledge of Core Connector Payroll (CCP/CCB) or related Workday payroll integrations.
- Experience with Workday Orchestration and Report-as-a-Service (RaaS)
- Strong knowledge of XML/XSLT for data transformation and integration development.
- Experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Familiarity with authentication mechanisms and secure data exchange.
- Experience with integration monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. Workday Integration certification or relevant Workday credentials will be an advantage.
