Location: Remote (India)

We are looking for an experienced
QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, web automation, and IoT platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Selenium or similar automation tools, experience enhancing automation frameworks, and a solid understanding of IoT-based applications and platforms.
The role requires a self-driven professional who can work independently, maintain high-quality standards, and deliver reliable testing outcomes within fast-paced development cycles. The candidate should be comfortable managing competing priorities and providing extended-hours or on-call support when required.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium or other suitable automation tools.
Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage, reliability, scalability, and execution efficiency.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality and stability.
Test IoT platforms and validate the functionality, performance, reliability, and interoperability of IoT-based applications and connected systems.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and define effective test strategies.
Identify, document, track, and troubleshoot software defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance practices.
Execute API testing and validate communication between applications, services, and IoT platform components, as required.
Support testing activities across short development cycles while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Work independently with limited supervision, proactively identify risks, and take ownership of assigned testing activities.
Provide extended-hours or on-call support when required to address critical issues and ensure application reliability.

8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA Automation.

Selenium or equivalent automation tools.
Proven experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong experience working with IoT platforms and testing connected applications or systems.
Good understanding of functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and defect management.
Familiarity with API testing and cloud environments is an advantage.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and manage tasks with minimal guidance.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management and the ability to work within short development cycles.
Flexibility to provide extended-hours or on-call support when required.
