• Location & Compensation - Location: KL Bangsar South (Hybrid) - Compensation: RM 8,000-14,000 Basic + Benefits

Key Responsibilities

• - Split your role equally between data engineering (50%) and analytics (50%).
• - Identify and analyze trends, and conduct ad-hoc analyses to generate insights that support client decision-making.
• - Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand client needs, connect data sources, and deliver tailored solutions.
• - Design, develop, and implement data pipelines to ingest and transform large volumes of data, and build scalable data models that power the core platform.
• - Perform data integration and preparation, including ETL processes and data structure optimization, to streamline analysis workflows.

Requirements

• - Educational background in Mathematics and Statistics, Analytics, Actuarial Science, or Data Science.
• - Strong analytical mindset with a passion for working with numbers and converting data into actionable insights.
• - Ability to define and solve ambiguous, open-ended business problems using exploratory and analytical approaches.
• - Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, cleaning, and preparation.
• - Current experience in Data Analytics or as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Business Intelligence professional, with a strong analytics background.
