- The role involves installation, configuration, deployment, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and ongoing administration of enterprise middleware platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and administer middleware servers
Deploy Java enterprise applications (WAR/EAR/JAR)
Configure and manage JBoss domains/standalone servers
- Manage WebSphere application server environments
- Configure Apache Tomcat instances and connectors
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues
- Perform JVM tuning and memory optimization
- Manage server patching and upgrades
- Configure clustering and high availability
- Handle SSL certificate installation
- Support production incidents and root cause analysis
- Create deployment and operational documentation
