About EPOS
- Backed by Ant International (a global leader in digital payments, digitisation, and financial technology solutions), EPOS is a leading Point-of-Sale (POS) digital solutions provider.
- Supporting Ant International's mission to empower SMEs, EPOS serves as the central hub of its global merchant payment services provider, Antom, delivering integrated O2O digital, payment, and banking solutions to SMEs worldwide—empowering Every Point Of Success in their business growth.
- With a growing presence across Southeast Asia, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our diverse and driven teams. Be part of our journey as we expand to create meaningful, impactful changes for businesses around the world.
About the role
You will own brand partnerships and strategic collaborations with B2B communities, trade associations, chambers of commerce, and media platforms for EPOS in Malaysia. Your focus is to build brand trust and visibility by turning these relationships into impactful events, media features, and community engagements. You will negotiate, manage the strategic alliances and co-marketing channels to drive business growth, and execute joint projects across internal and external teams.
Key responsibilities
- Partnership development and deal structuring • Identify, approach and close brand partnerships with B2B communities, associations and industry bodies against agreed pipeline and activation targets.
- • Prioritise partners with measurable commercial potential, not prestige alone. Test new partner types (for example F&B suppliers, CoSec, SME programmes) through structured pilots.
- • Negotiate scope, deliverables, exclusivity and commercial terms. Work with Legal, Business Development and Finance on agreements.
- • Own the relationship with association leadership and community organisers, and keep partnerships active well beyond launch.
Co-branded programmes and brand amplification
- • Design and deliver joint campaigns, member-exclusive offers, workshops and events that generate leads, not just goodwill.
- • Secure speaking slots, panel seats, thought-leadership and earned media through partner platforms.
- • Brief creative and content teams on co-branded collateral such as member offers, product sheets and event decks.• Work with the Paid, SEO, social and PR so partner content is amplified across owned and paid channels.
Measurement and experimentation
- • Maintain a partnership dashboard and a monthly report covering active partners, leads, qualified leads, activations, cost per win and pipeline contribution.
- • Flag underperforming partnerships early, with a recommendation, not just a number.
- • Run structured pilots on partner type, offer, format and channel. Document the learnings and use them to decide what to scale.
- • Forecast spend and results, and report variance to plan every month.
Offline, field and channel alignment
- • Support roadshows, association events and partner campaigns, and track the leads, wins and cost per win each one produces.
- • Ensure every partnership and event carries a tracking method (unique referral code, form source) so it can be compared with paid media and other channels.
- • Align with the Performance & Demand Generation team so partner and paid activity support each other and are not double counted.
Team and vendors
• Coordinate event vendors, agencies, KOLs and media partners • Provide clear briefs and performance feedback.
How success is measured
- • Number of active partnerships and renewal rate.
- • Qualified leads and merchants onboarded through partner channels.
- • Cost per win by partner, and lead-to-won conversion rate.
- • Share of partnership spend on proven partners vs pilots, and learnings documented from each pilot.
- • Brand reach: speaking slots, earned media and share of voice through partners.
- • Forecast accuracy on spend and results.
Requirements
- Requirements • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, community or B2B marketing, with 3+ years closing and running partnerships with associations, chambers or B2B communities.
- • Proven results measured in activated merchants or closed deals, not events held or logos signed.
- • Experience in a lead-generation funnel where sales converts leads: B2B, SaaS, fintech, payments or SME products.
- • A strong existing network across Malaysian SME and industry bodies, or the ability to engage fast.
- • Commercial skill: able to negotiate a deal and tie it to a business outcome• Strong analytical skills: able to build your own analysis and explain it simply to management.
- • Experience working closely with BD teams, and comfortable with senior stakeholders from association presidents to the C-suite.
- • Fluent in English. Mandarin is a strong plus, and Malay is a plus.
