- Job responsibilities:
- - Design, install, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency within the data centre.
- - Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of HVAC equipment to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- - Collaborate with the facilities management team to develop and implement strategies for improving HVAC system performance and reducing energy consumption.
- - Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC system issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- - Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- - Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations in the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems.
- - Prepare technical reports and documentation related to HVAC system performance and maintenance activities.
- Job requirements:
- - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC system design, installation, and maintenance, preferably in a data centre environment.
- - Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers.
- - Proficiency in using HVAC design and analysis software.
- - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- - Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- - Certification in HVAC systems or related fields is preferred.
