We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.

We are seeking

  • a passionate Global Mobility professional to join our growing team. As a key member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and managing the global mobility framework, ensuring compliance across all countries where we operate. This role combines policy development, process ownership and operational execution

  • You will be joining the Global HR team and report directly to Anne Marie Knuth, Head of HR Rewards, Data & Systems who is based in Hellerup. You will also be based in Hellerup.
  • Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Define and drive Ascendis' global mobility strategy aligned with business objectives and workforce needs.
  • Establish principles, governance, and decision frameworks for international mobility.
  • Ensure mobility programs balance employee experience, business flexibility and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the subject matter expert and trusted advisor to HR, managers and leadership on global mobility matters and being the primary point of contact for immigration requirements and travel-related compliance obligations.
  • Identify and proactively manage risks related to immigration, employment law, cross-border taxation and social security
  • Build scalable and efficient workflows for; work permit applications, visa administration, business traveler compliance, A1 certificates and social security coverage as well as cross-border employee movements, as well as managing and coordinating the applications globally.
  • To ensure timely renewals and ongoing compliance of permits and authorizations.
  • Qualifications and Skills:
  • You hold a relevant academic degree and have 5-10 years of experience within global mobility, immigration, international HR and employment tax.

Furthermore,

  • you have
  • In depth knowledge of immigration, work authorization, and business travel compliance.
  • Experience managing cross-border taxation and social security matters.
  • The ability to operate both strategically and hands-on in a growing global organization.
  • Great stakeholder management skills and can see yourself partnering with HR, Legal, Payroll, and Finance to address complex international employment scenarios.
  • Experience with vendor management as you will be the primary contact point to our external mobility vendors
  • Key competencies:
  • You are a strong team player, analytical, and have a can-do attitude.
  • You possess an entrepreneurial mindset and can thrive in an informal, open environment where innovation and change are key.
  • To succeed in this role, we also expect you to monitor changes in global legislation and assess business impact while ensuring ongoing compliance. We expect you to take ownership in continuously improving global mobility processes and procedures.
