• The Role
• We are looking for a DvP Orchestration Engineer to design and develop the orchestration engine coordinating asset and digital-cash settlement legs for matched trades.
• You will work across the transaction lifecycle, implementing robust settlement state management, atomicity, idempotency, retries, exception handling and recovery. You will integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain and smart-contract technology, and downstream market infrastructure.
• You will also contribute to end-to-end settlement testing, failure and recovery scenarios, reconciliation and production readiness.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop the DvP orchestration engine coordinating asset and digital-cash settlement legs for matched trades.
• Implement settlement state management, atomicity, idempotency, retry mechanisms, exception handling and recovery across the transaction lifecycle.
• Integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain/smart contracts and downstream market infrastructure.
• Support end-to-end settlement testing, including failure and recovery scenarios.
• Support reconciliation, performance optimisation and production-readiness activities.
• What We’re Looking For Strong software engineering experience designing and developing transaction-processing, orchestration or settlement solutions.
• Understanding of DvP settlement concepts, transaction lifecycles, state management, atomicity, idempotency and resilient distributed-system design.
• Experience integrating complex systems through APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures or comparable integration patterns.
• Experience with blockchain, distributed-ledger or smart-contract integrations, ideally within financial services or market infrastructure.
• Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, reconciliation and production readiness across complex transaction lifecycles.
• Bonus Points For Experience with Taurus or comparable digital-asset infrastructure.
• Knowledge of securities settlement, post-trade processes and downstream market infrastructure.
• Experience integrating digital-cash or tokenised-cash settlement capabilities.
• Understanding of reconciliation and exception management within transaction-processing environments.
• Experience designing or testing failure and recovery scenarios for resilient transaction-processing systems.
