- We are looking for an experienced
- Data Analyst with 4–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in GCP, BigQuery, and Power BI, along with a solid understanding of data analysis, data modelling, and modern data management practices.
- The role involves working with large and complex datasets, transforming raw data into meaningful insights, building scalable reporting solutions, and partnering with business and technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, business opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive
- Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business and operational teams.
- Work extensively with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to support data analytics and reporting requirements.
- Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries in Google BigQuery for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into scalable analytical solutions.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Develop data models and analytical datasets that support reporting, visualization, and business intelligence use cases.
- Optimize queries, dashboards, and data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
- Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to investigate and resolve them.
- Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs, metrics, dashboards, and analytical reports.
- Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of data analytics processes, standards, and best practices.
Must-Have Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud-based analytics environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Google BigQuery, including SQL querying, optimization, data transformation, and large-scale data analysis.
- Strong experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data visualization, reporting, and KPI creation.
- Excellent SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and analytical databases.
- Experience working with large datasets and translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data validation, and analytical reporting.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and data modelling concepts.
- Experience with Dataplex for data management, governance, discovery, and organization within GCP.
- Experience with Dataform for developing, managing, and transforming analytical datasets in BigQuery.
- Understanding of modern data warehouse and data lake architectures.
- Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Exposure to Python or other programming languages used for data analysis is an advantage.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple analytical requirements, and communicating complex data insights in a simple and business-friendly manner.
A combination of GCP, BigQuery, Power BI, data analysis, and data modelling expertise will be highly valued for this position.
