- Responsibilities:
- Create all aspects of design tech packs.
- Strong ability to Sketch and CAD on Illustrator.
- Daily correspondence with overseas factories, making sure sample details are clear.
- Strong computer skills, knowledge of the PLM Centric is ideal but not required.
- Communicate daily with our overseas factories to ensure all samples are on schedule in accordance to the calendar.
- Strong eye for color, ability to comment on sweater lab dips.
Requirements
Min.
3+ years
- of SWEATER experience required
- Color experience preferred
- Associate degree in Fashion Design required
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Excellent time management, organization skills and work ethic
- Experienced working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and sketching. Must be able to jump into sketching and CAD’ing efficiently in Illustrator
- Knowledge of working with prints + patterns in Adobe Photoshop and working between Illustrator and Photoshop
- Experience working on sweater construction, GG, and yarn
- Understanding and experience creating tech packs and spec’ing new designs and protos
- Excellent eye for detail and proportions
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / Microsoft Excel / Microsoft Office
- The annual salary range for this full-time position depends on experience between $80,000-$100,000.
