Accounts Receivable Intern

- About the Role:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Intern to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in finance operations, invoicing, collections, account reconciliations, and reporting in a fast-growing start-up environment.
- You will work closely with the Finance team to support day-to-day Accounts Receivable activities while gaining practical exposure to financial processes, systems, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and sending customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Track incoming payments and update records in finance systems.
- Support follow-ups on outstanding invoices and payment reminders.
- Help reconcile customer accounts and identify discrepancies.
- Maintain AR records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve billing-related queries.
- Assist in month-end closing activities and reporting.
- Support process improvement initiatives within the Finance function.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com, BBA Finance, M.Com, etc.).
- Recent graduate (2024, 2025, or 2026 pass-out).
- 0–1 year of experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounting, Finance Operations, or relevant internships.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship or project experience in finance or accounting.
- Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, or finance tools.
